You don’t need an expensive or time consuming routine to get clear skin. Here is how to do it naturally in just two weeks.
I’ve got something to confess. I don’t take as good care of my skin as I should. Sure, I wash my face of makeup every night and because I only use plant-based products, my skin is much clearer than it used to be.
The problem is, my skin is flaky and dull on a pretty regular basis. I’ve got small bumps on my neck and cheeks and my pores never seem to be clean. I don’t feel comfortable going out in public with no makeup on and I hate letting people stand too close to me.
A lot of skin care routines can have you spending a whole lot of time and money for minimal results. I wanted a routine that would clear my skin while keeping things as simple as possible.
Here are my results after one week of using a very easy beauty routine every day with only Era Organics products.
As you can see, my skin tone evened out, bumps went down, my pores are clearer and blemishes all but disappeared. Pretty miraculous for just one week of a simple routine!
I lay this 4 step routine out here for you to use and to see if you notice a difference after using it for one week. If not, give it another week or so. It can take 2 to 4 weeks for your skin to fully renew.
There are many things you can do to help fight acne that you can find here, but washing your face morning and night is an important one for keeping your skin clear. It removes excess oil, dirt and dead skin.
What isn’t so obvious is the amount of pollution and environmental gunk that is sitting on your face as you read this.
Dr. Robins Ashinoff, Director of Cosmetic Dermatology at Hackersack Medical Center, says “When makeup is left on, it blocks the natural exfoliating process, which can leave your skin looking dull.”
Not washing your face leads to clogged pores and as we get older, enlarged pores. Keep your skin clean and smooth with a food-grade face wash that is pH balanced for skin.
The next important step is exfoliating 2-3 times a week.
The older we are, the more our skin’s natural ability to shed dead skin cells decreases, resulting in the old skin cells building up, causing dull, flaky skin, (my biggest problem).
Using a good microdermabrasion face scrub helps our skin along by removing the dead skin, and allowing our fresh, new skin to breathe. This will really bring out your skin’s inner glow in just minutes!
Use a Dead Sea mud mask 1-2 times a week is a great way to pull out toxins. As the mask dries, it soaks up impurities and allows your skin to drink in vitamins and minerals that are only found in the Dead Sea.
Your diet is also key to removing toxins. Make sure you’re eating tons of leafy greens and antioxidant rich foods. Cut back on wheat, sugar and dairy as these all lead to oily skin. Finally, and most importantly, drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated.
You’d be surprised how much skin damage is caused by diet.
This two-in-one step will give you many long term benefits. Keeping your skin free from toxins and chemicals is key to to looking young into your later years.
Moisturize regularly. I’ll say it again because it’s so important, “Moisturize!”
Hydrating the skin allows the cells to quickly repair themselves and create new cells which has got huge anti-aging benefits.
In a study done by the British Journal of Dermatology, those who moisturize regularly are found to develop wrinkles at a fraction of the rate as people who don’t.
Our moisturizing cream Complete provides the skin with all the essential nutrients it needs to heal, rejuvenate and glow.
Pretty simple right? My skin is looking and feeling better after just 1 week on this regimen.
Not only is it helping me look my best right now, but in the long run it’s saving my skin from unnecessary lines and wrinkles.
I thought I had pretty good results by just washing my face at night, but seeing the difference between back when I had no regime and now, I will never go back.
Now it’s your turn! Get your skin care products, follow the same routine and enjoy your results!
