Stretch marks can pop up across your body from growing, weight gain, puberty, age and of course pregnancy. Feeding the skin the proper vitamins, minerals and amino acids is crucial to maintain skin health during these changes. Unfortunately, most stretch mark products have harsh chemicals that can be absorbed into the skin.
If something isn’t good enough to go in your body, it should never be put on your body– especially during pregnancy.
Whether your goal is to treat stretch marks or prevent them, it’s important to avoid harsh chemicals that can lead to weakened skin or uncomfortable skin conditions. That’s why we made a completely safe body oil using food grade, organic nutrients.
Sunflower Oil maintains your skin’s barrier and prevents water loss for moisturized, supple skin. It has been proven to be effective on dermatitis and helps restore damaged skin.
Borage, a flowering herb, produces an oil that helps dermatites, increases hydration, improves the skin barrier, and softens up rough, dry skin.
Taken from the seeds of rose bushes, this oil is full of vitamins and essential fatty acids that correct dark spots and eases dry, itchy skin. When applied over time it can halt and reduce the production of stretch marks and reduces appearance of scars. It treats acne, rosacea, burns and is skin regenerative, which makes it a great anti-aging ingredient.
Safe and gentle for even the most sensitive skins, olive oil will: moisturize, improves elasticity for more supple skin, help protect the skin from bacteria, speed up healing of wounds, reduce pain and irritation, smooths out skin and prevents free radical damage.
Shea butter has been used in Africa for hundreds of years to protect skin from the harsh conditions and heal a variety of skin conditions, minor cuts and burns. Shea butter is proven to prevent skin aging, moisturize deeply, protect from UV damage, reduce inflammation, soothe irritation, and stimulates collagen production to help make the skin stronger, more supple and younger.
Apricot oil is used as a carrier oil in some of our products. This means it is light enough to dilute some of the heavier oils we use and transport them into the skin. Besides that, it also is anti-inflammatory, high in healing vitamin E, and is antibacterial and anti-yeast.
Commonly used during pregnancy, this oil helps relieve itchy, inflamed skin. Evening Primrose Oil increases moisture, elasticity and firmness of the skin and has been shown to greatly improve skin conditions like psoriasis and dermatitis.
Orange Oil is one of the ways we scent some of our products without having to use harmful, smelly fragrances. Not only does the smell induce relaxation but it has incredible effects on the skin. It treats acne, is antifungal, anti-aging, antibacterial and is high in vitamin C which helps heal and protect the skin.
