Not necessarily. Tea tree oil has a lot of skin care benefits and also includes several moisturizing ingredients.

We used enough tea tree oil to provide its benefits, but kept it at low enough levels so as to not irritate the skin. We always recommend testing a sample, though.

First, we recommend testing a sample for any allergies. Allergies are very rare (less that 1%) but it’s best to be safe. We recommend testing on your inner wrist since that is more sensitive skin. If any irritation occurs, discontinue use and contact your physician.
